VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We rely on parent volunteers to serve as chaperones for events. Typically, we require one parent chaperone for every ten cadets. All volunteers must complete the SCPS Volunteer Form before participating. This process can take up to three weeks.

Without sufficient parent support, some events may have to be canceled.

If you are serving refreshments at an event, a volunteer form is still required; however, fingerprinting is not required and may be submitted a day prior to the event.

Join the CHCORI Battalion Boosters Club Board and make a difference. Share your time, skills, and passion to support our cadets and strengthen our JROTC community. Volunteer forms are due April 6, 2026.

🚗🪖Support the CHCORI JROTC Cadets at the Booster Club Car Wash!

🌷🌼 Enjoy the beautiful spring weather and support a great cause! The CHCORI JROTC Cadets will be hosting a community car wash to raise funds for their programs.

Date: Saturday, April 25

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: 🍩 Dunkin’ Donuts, 3730 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, VA (Route 3 by Cheddar’s)

Cadets will be on hand to wash vehicles and greet supporters. All donations are welcome (cash, check, or online).

Organization Day at Fredericksburg Field House

Volunteers are needed to help supervise cadets at the field house, assist with serving lunch, and help with clean-up afterward.

Change of Command/Awards Ceremony

We're looking for volunteers to help make our ceremony a success! We need support with serving food to our cadets and assisting at the booster table. If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d greatly appreciate your time and support!
